Is Your Neighbor This Guy?

I get along pretty well with my neighbor on the right of me. Shaun plays with his son and when I see the dad outside we chat and shoot the stuff. My neighbor on the left of me is a PITA and I feel his sole mission is to give me a hard time and drive me nuts. If anone parks in his parking spot he will block them in and they have to knock on the door so he can move his car. The funny thing is we do not have a civic association so technically you can park anywhere you want but most people in the neighborhood out of respect take two spots in front of their house to park their cars but not him he has three spots. He is that neighbor you love to dislike alot and he makes it really easy to do so. He even called the cops and reported we lived here too long to still have out of state tags. JERK!!!!!
Here in MD we got approx 28-30 inches of snow which meant a butt load of shoveling. My neighbor on the right and I were outside shoveling and talking and helping each other out. My neighbor on the left of me came home from work last night at about 11:30pm and had not shoveled his parking spot for his truck. I looked out the window and what did I see, my neighbor throwing snow from his spot into mine. WTF!!! Not cool. It took me and Sabreena over 4 hours to shovel out my cars and no way in hell was my neighbor going to throw his snow in my spot. I grabbed my coat and ran outside to ask him what the hell he was doing. He told me just trying to clear a little snow so he could back in and get some sleep as he just got done working a double at work and needed to go back in in five hours to work another double. I do not have a problem trying to help him out if he asked but was very rude. Why throw snow in a spot I spent 4 hours shoveling? I asked him that and he had nothing to say. What else is new. He has alot to say until you confront him then he is a chicken and scared to say anything. Coward!!!!

Whew, sounds like a rough go. We live in a new subdivision with neighbors only on one side right now. Luckily they are nice, but I dread the day they start building on the other side.
First of all, I am so glad we do not have to deal with snow.
And yes, unfortunately, we have neighbors like tha on our left side. Long story, but not happy with them. Crappy neightbors make life difficult, is it really worth it to them to make everyone miserable.
Good luck with him!
The joys of living in a neighborhood sometimes I miss the country. I would have exchanged words with him over the license plates. Thats just too far.
I agree that is was a jerky thing to do.
We had a neighbor like this in the rental property down the road that didn't mess with me so much but sure did to their direct neighbors and everyone came to an agreement that they needed to be dealt with, since the police would not do anything.
At our neighborhood watch meeting, we all let it be known that we weren't going to stand for it anymore. After another 6 weeks of crap and the police still were not doing a thing because "he was not causing physical harm".
Well, after a day of drinking amongst a few of us, we found a great site and a couple of them took it upon themselves to "go into action". I wasn't one but wish I had been. Check it out, maybe you might want to try some of the ideas.

Good Luck with your neighbor!
Yes, I do. Neighbors who threw their snow from their huge driveway right onto my property. They threw their snow over the fence into my backyard, then onto the small beautiful trees on the side of my home (which my brother paid $500 for when he lived here and planted himself). Then they threw snow right into my front yard. The trees on the side of my home are on my property which separates us from them. And honestly, I believe my brother planted them there to act as a property separator for good reasons. Anyhow, when my brother came over to clear the snow off the trees so they would not die, he was livid at what he saw. All the extra snow thrown onto the trees from their driveway. And then when he went to say something to them they acted like it wasn't a big deal because there was snow already there. He was livid. He told them they better not do it again. P.S. I can tell you some more horror stories but it would take pages.
OMG. I would have said something too. I feel for you. I would hate to have to deal with a bad neighbor.
Pray that the neighbor will move.
We had an awful neighbor across the street from us. We were soooo happy when he moved! I know it would be difficult but speak softly and kindly--and yes, help him shovel snow and show him where the can put the snow that is not in your parking spot!
OMG I felt my blood pressure raise just reading this...I HATE people like this...they are just so full of negative energy and love to share it with everyone they come into contact with...I am SO sorry you are having to deal with this! Good for you for confronting him!!!! Did he stop???

What a complete ass. Did he apologize at the end of your discussion or did he just stare at you vacantly with his mouth hanging open?
LOL OMG! What a Jerk. Guys like that don't think.
Glad you ran out and just didn't let him get away with it
That is just awful. I'm glad you went out there and stuck up for yourself. That is just wrong. Sorry you have such a terribly selfish neighbor.
Wow, I'd have been ticked off too!! Glad you said something to him! Maybe he'll think twice next time. Aren't neighbors fun?
Is there really a picture of douche on this post? Yikes.
we have what I thought was good neighbors til one fell off the wagon and tried to steal stuff off the front porch in daylight now I dont know what to think
FUNNNY PIC you left!I really DID laugh out loud! We live in a snobbish sort of town but we are LUCKY to live in the OLDER NON- yuppy area. MOst of our neighbors would give their right arm to help each other. BUT, every neighborhood has that ONE or TWO that are just ROtTen!!! You wonder how they grew up and who raised them to be so rude??? Usually people like this are just jealous or have a chip on their shoulder for some reason. Sounds like you and family need to build a HUGE snow fort between you! ANd put one of those little bottles you showed on his front steps!
First of all, I can't remember the last time someone other than me said "PITA"!! Love it! 2nd I dealt with a lady like this at our old house. We only had a fence separating our property. We would snow blow our driveway and she'd come out, shovel in hand and dump it OVER the fence and into our driveway. Not, it was a one car driveway not some big thing! I finally went out and confronted her and started scooping the snow back into her yard. :)

The neighbor on my left rocks. He keeps an eye out for us. The neighbor who was on the other side was decent until he rented his house out to a drug dealer. Seriously. Guy would threaten his pregnant girlfriend that he was going to f-in kill her. I was the one calling the cops then. I was glad when he left ... he stole stuff from that house when he did. Then my "real" neighbor came back but told me his house is in foreclosure. So no one is there now. Oh well.
Your guy sounds like a piece of work! Confront him whenever you get the chance!
