Eli's Cheesecake Review and Giveaway-CLOSED

Eli Schulman was the mastermind behind Eli’s Cheesecake. Hailing from the West Side of Chicago, Eli started two restaurants before hitting the jackpot with his version of cheesecake. In 1977 cheesecake dessert hit the menu at Eli's the Place for Steak. Following up on a suggestion from a customer about his dessert, Eli spent several weeks coming up with a recipe that would please everyone. Eli's Cheesecake quickly became a marquee offering at Eli's the Place for Steak. During the July 4, 1980 Taste of Chicago, Eli made his debut of his now-famous Chicago cheesecake.
