I searched for family and kids events in North Carolina for this weekend and was surprised to find "wildlife jeopardy", a game that tests wildlife knowledge with prize giveaways. Very cool.

main entry: I am in both shock & total happiness at what I just found on that amazing search tool. My grandson loves puppet shows any kind, so I simply put in the word puppet show in the search in the state of tenn because our town is small so I figured it would show me surrounding areas in Tenn and searched anytime. And I found the most amazing play ground built in 2008 that I never even knew exsisted in a town about 35 miles from here that we go too very often because there are better restaraunts/doctors/malls etc there so you would think I would of heard of it before. Because I knew about Warriors Path state park but had not been there in years to know they had built a childrens park called" Darrell's Dream boundless playground" which was themed after The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe its a playground park built for all kids to enjoy with all items handicap assessable for those challenged in mind to be able to enjoy. Its almost like a tiny theme park just by looking at the map with a full tree house & more. I will taking my grandson to this wonderful place this summer on a warm day with intentions of staying there all day & packing a big picnic lunch to be able to enjoy it all. I am just amazed that I found it with the help of this great search tool by Goby and would not of even know about it had I not found it by doing a simple serach for puppet show which I think they do in the summer months is why it brought it up to begin with when searching.If you want to see it too because your in the tenn area just put in the name of the place above in kingsport TN. Thank you so much.

i have found that there are INDOOR paintball centers just a few minutes from us and that is something that my family has wanted to do for a long time. I did a search for family fun in my city and found all the tourist attractions and museums that I expected to find. But, I did find a puppet show that I didn't know about. I think that once the weather's nicer that this site would be full of festivals and outdoor events.

I was looking for events/live music/folk & bluegrass near our area. I found the Flogging Molly band would be playing in Charlotte on Feb 19th at The Fillmore. (I didn't realize The Fillmore ever had that kind of music acts.)

I searched for family events in our area and found a cool exhibit at a local museum. "The Science of Spying" exhibit would be perfect for our grandkids and we're going to take them to see it next weekend.
