LOL, I'll tell anyone I'm a republican haha!
its amazing what people will do to be heard!
December 16, 2009 1:08 AM
LOL, interesting...
December 16, 2009 5:29 AM
Well, at least this gave me a little laugh. We're self-employed so we have to pay for our own expensive, sucky health insurance with a huuuge deductible & no coverage for many things (like maternity or preventive care or prescriptions). We try not to go to the doctor, ever. Which is a strategy that works only up to a certain point! We got a Health Savings Account to save some money — and just found out today our HSA bank went bankrupt! I didn't know they could do that. So now that money's lost, too.
So, yes, I'm not afraid to say: I wish we had a better healthcare option than the current stupidity. :(

Wow...what a way to get your views out there lOL
December 16, 2009 8:17 AM
No matter what I thought I wouldn't put it on my car window! I'd be afraid an opposing viewpoint would throw a rock at my car or key it.
December 16, 2009 8:20 AM
Wow.. I have to say I agree with blueviolet on this one.. although.. living in Asheville I have seen even more outspoken things like this on a daily basis.. it is never a dull day around these parts!

I'm with HoboMama. I pay my own insurance, which I pretty much have to stick with because I'm a bag of preexisting conditions. One of those is ovarian cysts, the treatment for which is female hormones... delivered in the form of the birth control patch. My poor doctor just went through ANOTHER fight with my crummy insurance company getting approval for the drug he prescribed because, you guessed it, my insurance doesn't cover contraception. I discovered, however, that it DOES cover a certain popular drug for men that Bob Dole used to advertise. *headdesk* So while I agree with blueviolet about the unwisdom of painting your car, I'm fairly desperate for an alternative too.

Only in NYC.... :)
Have a great day!

I certainly wouldn't write that on my car. I am not sure I would write anything on my car ever. Now others have written WASH ME when it is dirty and I never appreciated that. I always figured the dirt doesn't bother me and if it bothers you enough to write WASH ME, you are welcome to pick up a rag and soap and wash it yourself. Right?
As far as healthcare all I can say is that everyday that goes by and we don't do something is just another day the big insurance companies get richer. And I think that is what they want.
December 16, 2009 9:11 AM
HA! Sorry. It's a little funny. LOL! I'm with BlueViolet, too. I like the windows in my car, personally, although, I must not like my face much because that's ALWAYS spouting out opinions! LOL! Oh, well.
December 16, 2009 9:34 AM
I'm so homesick right now. ;) Great capture!
December 16, 2009 9:36 AM
LOL! That's one way to show people how you feel! Much cheaper than a billboard!
December 16, 2009 9:44 AM
That is freaking brilliant! LOL I might just write that on my van! I'm the token liberal among all my Republican friends. We have some pretty interesting and heated debates around here.
December 16, 2009 10:06 AM
As a Canadian, I think that photo is pretty funny. Our system is not perfect (nor free, we are taxed to death here) but the bottom line is...there is nothing funny about having to pay for health care expenses out of pocket. Yikes.

LOL, I would have took a photo and posted it for WW, too. Great capture.
I agree with BlueViolet though...I would be afraid some person would throw a rock or key my car.
December 16, 2009 10:32 AM
Shhh, Calarydad! We think it will be free! Even the government hasn't got a lucid idea on how to pay for it.
December 16, 2009 11:00 AM
Only in NYC!
December 16, 2009 11:13 AM
Healthcare might be a problem, but the simple fact is that everything the government touches fails...post office, public schools, etc. etc.
December 16, 2009 11:29 AM
I am not going to disclose my opinion on the healthcare issue either but I agree that is very interesting. Have a wonderful day!
December 16, 2009 12:05 PM
Interesting! Happy WW :)
December 16, 2009 12:14 PM
Haha! Interesting.. desperate times call for crazy desperate measures I guess.
Yes, our health care system sucks and it seems to me like they are taking their good old time fixing it because those people obviously have no idea what it is like to have to go with and kill yourself trying to pay for such expenses.
December 16, 2009 12:38 PM
A moving billboard! haha!
December 16, 2009 1:57 PM
We definitely need a change, especially right now when unemployment is off the charts. Our healthy should not be compromised, but unfortunately, that is the case for so many people.
December 16, 2009 1:57 PM
I agree with Blue Violet too, my car windows are not the place I would share my opinions with everyone. Besides with my three boys I don't think anyone could see through the grime on the windows anways, lol!
December 16, 2009 1:58 PM
A bit bold.
December 16, 2009 2:13 PM
I'm a republican but #1 still makes me giggle.
December 16, 2009 4:31 PM
Wow, no doubt how that guy feels! LOL!
December 17, 2009 3:00 AM
I agree with BlueViolet though...I would be afraid some person would throw a rock or key my car.
December 17, 2009 9:04 AM
You are not disclosing your political views? LOL, people! It's pretty obvious you are drinking the Obama kool aid.
