SafetyTat temporary tattoo for kids Review and Giveaway-CLOSED

Tuesday, December 01, 2009

Being a parent comes with its own set of worries and struggles. One HUGE worry of mine is losing my children. If you remember a couple weeks back I had a scare where Shaun and Sabreena disappeared from my site for a long time. It was a nightmare.

One thing I didn't talk about was that morning before heading out for a fun family day I applied a SafetyTat to both Shaun and Shae. Shae was never out of our site so hers didn't come in handy but since I had to give Shaun's information to security I was able to mention that he had a tattoo on his arm with MY phone number. Fortunately the tattoo wasn't needed as Rob found them on his own so no one had to call me.

SafetyTat is a fun and colorful kids temporary safety tattoo with 2 distinct designs; "Original" which are customized by SafetyTat with your mobile phone number and applied with water or "Quick Stick Write-on!" which are peel-and-stick tattoos shipped blank so you can write in your mobile number with the provided tattoo marking pen. When applied to the arm of your child or loved one, SafetyTat provides a highly visible form of identification that stays in place even when wet!

The moment can happen in an instant, you lose sight of your child at the grocery store, amusement park or even your local playground. It's a busy time of year, malls are crazy crowded and kids can quickly get separated. Take a quick moment to give yourself and your family a little insurance and apply a SafetyTat to the little ones.

Not just for lost kids though, SafetyTat also offers an Allergy Bundle to keep kids healthy when you can be by their side. Stay tuned into all of SafetyTat's updates and new products. Do you have a story to share about your experience with SafetyTat. Become a Facebook Fan and let them know what you think. Now till December 20, 2009 received 10% off orders of $15 or more using coupon code LWMFAD09.

main entry: I think its great that they have the Allergy Tattoos as well, my daughter now gorwn but when when she was 8 yrs old and went into a diabetic shock from her insulin drop I was only fortunate that it happened at school where they had been alerted of her condition knowing to react swiftly to her and place a sugar tablet under her tounge because had that happen eles where no one would of know why she had collasps and what her medical needs were, so those would help to bring the right type of help faster to the person in need. And my tip is maybe to each wear the smallest walkie talkies you can find clipped to your belt for kid and parent so that even in a loud busy place either one of you can at least try to keep in contact to see where they are or let them wear a whistle around there neck and if they feel lost or see that they are begin to blow it so you can find them sooner. atleast its some type of contact to try to help. i would use these for my grandson when he goes with me to busy places to be better safe, thanks.

hey there. I actually posted this the day that you had your scare, but my safety tip is with my families rule of not playing games like hide and seek while out on an "adventure (we like to call them that... never know when the adventure wil turn loud while mommy and the other driver argue :P) It can sometimes be hard for a child to know when its appropriate (at home with cousins) vs when its not (in the mall while mommy is adjusting baby in the stroller) so until they're old enuogh to learn, H'n'S' is off limits outside the house.

I went to the site and learned that they are water proof, and that they offer allergy alert tags as well. I am going to tell my sister about this as my niece may inherit her Dad's peanut allergy.

Where should I apply the SafetyTat child ID tattoo on my child?

We suggest to apply in a visible spot, so it can be noticed right away to aid in your child's speedy return to you. Apply the SafetyTat in an area on your child that won't be exposed to too much wear and tear, and avoid areas with a lot of body hair. In warm weather, a good spot is the outside of the arm between the shoulder and elbow, so your child won't be tempted to scratch it but it will be visible if it's needed. In cold weather with long sleeves, a good spot is on the inside of the arm, just above the wrist.
