Seagate FreeAgent Go Review and Giveaway

In today’s computer savvy world everything seems to be done online via computer. With movies online, MP3 files and digital pictures it takes more hard drive space to save all of these files. Seagate was kind enough to send me the Seageate FreeAgent Go Special Edition 500GB hard drive in black chrome. Right out of the box I was impressed with the appearance of the drive. It has a very flashy look that I really like and it looks good sitting on my desk. This drive is available in 500GB and 640GB and comes in red, black and grey chrome. The Free Agent Go Special Edition 500GB drive was super easy to setup and within minutes I was transferring files to this new drive. It took me longer to get the drive out of the package then it did to set it up. I have a 13 year old daughter who is in middle school and my wife and I are very much into digital pictures, MP3’s and blogging so this drive will get a lot of use.

This contest and review came at a great time. I have 2 computers that have been having major issues and I have tons of digital pics on both! I've been asking around about external hard drives so this was awesome timing. I like 2 at Seagate: FreeAgent Go™ Special Edition and the FreeAgent Extreme! I like the Dockstar concept - plug it in and access from any networked PC without the fuss of messing with network shares. Sounds like a great way to get a manual backup of some important files from every PC in the house.
