Aloha Friday #12

Friday, July 17, 2009

Welcome to this week’s edition of Aloha Friday. This is my 12th week doing Aloha Friday and I am excited to be a part of of it. Head over to An Island Life for more Aloha Friday!!

In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

If you’d like to participate, just post your own question on your blog and leave your link below. Don’t forget to visit the other participants!

My Question is: Do you consider yourself a homebody or do you like to go out alot and have a good time?

My Answer: I would at this point in our lives my wife and I are homebodies. We like to go out to dinner and the movies sometimes but we like to stay home and relax and do things around the house. Guess we are nerds, well at least I am. LOL.

I am a homebody now. I used to be someone who could go out to the club, or bar, with friends and dance all night. Now I am dancing in my bedroom to the Wiggles with my son. Have a wonderful weekend and Aloha!

I like to get out, but appreciate saving money and doing things close to home with my family. With budgets tight not as exciting as it once may have been, but there are still things to do.

Definitely a home body. Me and my husband both are, which I think is nice. Better than if one of us wanted to go out all the time, and the other didn't. :)

Power to the nerds! ;) We're homebodies... have been for a while. When I was working I'd go out with my girlfriends at work once a week, but that was it!

Well, I have kids ranging from 21 to 4, with the majority being Teenagers--so, we are homebodies trying to set a good example. I'd love to go out more, but I also don't want to see them party too hard...

We are very much homebodies since in order to go anywhere we have to drive a bit. That being said, once a month we go to the Big City & spend the whole day shopping, movies & eating out! Won't be able to do that for too much longer w/ a pre-teen already itching to spend more time w/ his friends but...

I'm a homebody. I like to get out and see different things now & then like museums or dinner or parks.

I'm a homebody. I like to be comfy at home. It usually takes an army to get me out.

I'm definitely comfortable being at home - esp with a toddler. Deep down though I do love a good night (or day) out, or a great vacation in a new city. I guess I am more of a homebody though because I don't need to do it very often at all.

I am somewhat of a homebody. I will go out when people invite me but I am not always great at initiating.

We actually love to travel and go out, but unfortunately with the economy and our health we are now more homebodies than we planned on being -- Oh, well, we still have each other!! :-)
    Aloha, everybody!!
